japan revisited

ok, i am set for mid aug (12-26). now, i have to figure out how to stay accommodated for two weeks (lodging, food, and transportation) with a very tight budget (<= $1000). please help!!
i am gonna land in Tokyo.
The plan is to wing most of the trip, but three destinations I want to hit:
Mount Fuji/ Hakone - I want to hike it as the very first thing I do.
Kyoto/ Nara - Temple magicness.
Shikoku - see the scenery, meet the natives.

With these three places visited, the rest is up in the air. I want to take my time and enjoy my short stay.

capoeira log 8

sat (7/12/08):
in the park, we practiced floreiros again, by the nethermeads. the most memorable sequence:
au de caluna (sp?) - slight spin over into negativa - queda de rins into negativa - role

tues (7/15/08):
conditioning:
au stretches + au stretch pushups, negativa pushups

sequencia:
switch jinga - mea lua de frente (leg goes back) - esquiva parallel - negativa - quick slidy get up thingy - martelo - that standing rasteira variation - esquiva left and right

practice:
queda de rins esquiva - head au or head spin
: to do head au, you lower yourself on one hand from the negativa, let your head touch the floor now, then slide your legs over while your other hand catches the floor, and then your legs fall back into negativa.
: to do head spin, it is kind of the same thing, only you throw yourself inwards. we'll see.
